Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) – Reminder for 2026-2027 Season
Who needs a VSC?
All team officials, on-ice officials, third-party instructors, or others (age 18+) working directly with vulnerable populationWhat’s required:
- New VSC: Anyone new, or with a VSC dated 2023 or earlier, must obtain a new one.
- Annual Declaration: Everyone must complete a declaration every season (including 2026-2027).
Key Dates:
- August 1, 2026 – VSC receipts may be submitted (to allow rostering while waiting for police processing).
- August 15, 2026 – All VSCs from 2023 or earlier become invalid. To be rostered, you must have:
- A VSC dated 2024 or later
- A completed annual declaration
